<p><strong>About the Speaker</strong><br />
JOHANNES BHAKDI is publisher of sophotec.com, an independent think tank focusing on the future of the Social Web, user generated media and their impact on business and society. As former marketing executive, author of “Web 3.0 – user generated business and why everyone becomes a media entrepreneur” and founder of Klatcher.com, a Social Media publishing platform, he is a thought leader in Social Media Marketing and its strategic implications for brand building, campaign management and innovation in blue chip companies. </p>
<p>In his newest book, “Social Media Magic” (scheduled for March 2010), Johannes provides the most strategic blueprint to the application of Social Media as driver of corporate and brand value available today. </p>
<p>Previously in his career, Johannes worked as distinguished top-level marketing strategist with agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, BBDO, Scholz &#038; Friends and companies like Ford Motor Group, Unilever, Barilla and Siemens on marketing, innovation and brand strategies. He also held advisory board positions in political campaigns. </p>
<p>Johannes enjoys working with universities and conducted several experimental research projects on knowledge production and processing at Humboldt University, Berlin, and is founder of the Executive Science Network, an initiative of VP and C-level executives in over 30 international corporations committed to the advancement of relevant business knowledge. As Editorial Director of the “Manual of International Marketing”, he was responsible for assembling the world’s largest collection of executive marketing knowledge. He has extensive experience in both leading learning groups and conducting trainings; he also enjoys passing on knowledge and stirring debate in public speeches. </p>
