Who Participates?

The first BIL (2008) had about 300 attendees. BIL 2009 had over 600 attendees, and more than 100 speakers. For BIL 2010 we’re expecting about 1000 attendees. You can see who has already signed up here.

Based on previous BIL attendance, most participants are between the ages of 25 and 35, and tend to work in start-ups, educational institutions, non-profits, or other small organizations striving to make a big impact with few resources. These individuals are young, highly motivated participants in social change who are seeking like-minded supporters with whom to share and collaborate. BIL:PIL is a venue for these bright minds to come together.
